Eduardo Guevara, DVM
Dr. Eduardo Guevara was raised in the rural south Texas town of Carrizo Springs. He began his college career at Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas, followed by completion of his bachelor’s (1998) and master’s (2001) degrees in Animal Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Dr. Guevara received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2005 from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, Tuskegee, Alabama. After graduation, Dr. Guevara moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he has been practicing both large and small animal medicine. His special interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. When not in the clinic, Dr. Guevara devotes time to his large animal medicine special interest in equine reproduction.
Jennifer Evans, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Evans, originally from Somerset, Pennsylvania, attended undergraduate school at Slippery Rock University near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She then received her veterinary degree in 2005 from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama.
After graduation, she spent two years practicing in Titusville, Florida. During her time there, she enjoyed wakeboarding, spending time at the beach, and visiting the amusement parks in Orlando. Dr. Evans relocated to San Antonio in 2007. Since moving to the area, she has worked full time both in general practice and as an emergency veterinarian, in addition to providing relief services for many nearby animal hospitals. Her special veterinary interests include feline diseases, pain management, and pet adoption.
When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Guevara and Dr. Evans enjoy spending time with their two boys, five dogs (Junior, Coyote, Spot, Ellie, and Greta), three cats (Oscar, Lucas, and Fiona), and dozen Koi fish. Despite their hectic lifestyle, they enjoy traveling, the outdoors, sporting events, and cooking shows.
